Anchorage Airport & First Impressions

You know you are in Alaska when the first 2 things you see on the wall in the airport are a moose head and a 459 lb Halibut fish preserved and encased in plastic.  We arrived over an hr late (1am Alaska time, 4am Nashville time).  Outside there is plenty of snow and those really bright LED lights on the trees.  

It is 9:35am here, and still mostly dark outside...hoping it will be a nice day.  Anchorage is the largest city, and we'll shop a little before making the 3-hr drive to Kenai.
